001: the first post ever

I have a dreamwidth! Craziness. Also posting on it more craziness! I wonder if people already have custom layouts for dreamwidth or whether or not lj's custom layouts will work since it seems to be just like LJ except more streamlined and pink.

Anyway! I took Scarlet's advice and ended up using a French word for my account name. French words do sound prettier, but I think that's more of a we-speak-English thing rather than a French-words-are-prettier thing. But it could be that, too. (On the other hand, I might just be showing my bias for French as opposed to English.) I think this word is apt, though, all things considered. :)
